I asked students to make sure and post before they left for Thanksgiving break. Many of them did. Many of them needed a reminder. It was interesting what some of them posted. They posted pictures of the Library, no surprise there. But one picture was taken in the dark with just the street lights on of the basket ball courts. That one I had to ask what it was. Some students shared pictures of themselves in their favor spots. I had one of a student's door to her resident hall room.
With the successes I had, we also had some struggles.... All my students posted, at least they said they did. However I wasn't able to see all of their pictures. I believe it is due to their privacy settings. I also believe I need to ask them to allow me to follow them and that would prevent any of the confusion. I would then be able to see their pictures.
I asked them to use the hash tag #tishlyu100. That way we could all search for the hash tag and see the pictures. However, again with the privacy settings, it prevented me from being able to see them all.
Overall, I think it was fun and the students liked it.
